Your first visit to our office involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you and your smile! The initial oral examination includes an oral cancer screening, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take digital x-rays which may include a panoramic x-ray or full series for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth. Bite-wing x-rays will also be taken to evaluate areas between the teeth.
