Coronavirus Update: Your Health and Safety are our priority

UPDATE: June 22, 2021

June 22nd marks the first day our state government mask mandate is no longer in effect. Exciting news for us all!

It is important for us to share that the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association recommend that dental practices continue to follow CDC Guidance. The CDC advises that patients continue to wear masks in dental offices. Chambers Dental will continue to ask patients to wear a mask inside the office until guidance from the CDC changes. We know that it’s been a long, challenging experience dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. We ask for your continued patience in observing our mask requirement.

Chambers Dental has re-opened our reception area. Scheduled patients may now wait for their appointment inside. If you prefer to wait in your car until your appointment time just let us know by phone when you arrive. Social distancing must be maintained and only the scheduled patient should enter the building. Exceptions include being a parent of a young child or a care provider for a patient needing assistance.

Chambers Dental also continues to follow MIOSHA and OSHA rules for health care workers. All team members are screened daily for temperature and COVID symptoms.

Patients are asked to complete their COVID screening on our website - chambersdental.com. Phone screening on arrival will also be provided with a temperature check.

All air management controls and multiple HEPA filtration sites established in June 2020 continue today.

Please know that we are following the MDA, ADA, CDC and state policies and will reduce screening and mask protocols as soon as doing so is deemed safe in dental offices for you and for our team.

Stay well and thank you for your continued trust!

Working together to keep you safe. Changes we have made.

Your safety and that of the team continues to be our top priority. Before re-opening, we implemented the CDC, ADA, and State of Michigan recommended levels of infection control and PPE (personal protective equipment) utilizing N95 and KN95 masks, surgical masks, face shields and additional scrubs and gowns.

I am proud of our response to this public health crisis. The team has been eager to implement any changes necessary and take safety very seriously. I want to share with you all the changes we have made since May.

To ensure the safest environment we can achieve, several engineering controls have been installed. These surpass any required facility changes. To capture, clean and remove air in each treatment room we are using the following:

We will continue to follow the current protocol for COVID-19 screening for ourselves and our patients. We screen every team member daily by taking a temperature and completing a symptoms questionnaire.

Continuing the process implemented on June 1, 2020, patients are required to complete the COVID-19 Questionnaire and Acknowledgment before their visit. The Questionnaire is posted under “New Patients” with the “Secure Online Forms” link. The form can be submitted digitally from the website. Please complete the questionnaire within 24-48 hours of your scheduled appointment. You will be asked the questions again when you arrive for your appointment. Your temperature will be checked with a non-contact forehead thermometer.

We continue to follow the recommendation of having you wait in your car when you arrive for your appointment. The reception room is closed. We ask that patients enter the office alone – accompanying family will be asked to wait outside the office. Please call the office when you arrive to check-in. A team member will come to get you when we are ready to see you for your appointment.

Please remember masks are required to enter the office and until you are seated. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

We will continue to reach out and update you on a regular basis through various forms of contact. Please follow us on ChambersDental.com and our Facebook page for up-to-date information.

Mask up, observe social distancing and stay well!

Thank you for your trust!

How will I come in now that you are open?

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
